The excitement of booking your wedding celebrant is one of the first big steps towards bringing your dream ceremony to life. But what happens next? If you’re wondering how the process works when you get in touch with me at All Bright Ceremonies, here’s a step-by-step breakdown of what you can expect. I’m here to guide you through each stage, making sure your ceremony is as personal, beautiful, and stress-free as possible.

Step 1: Let’s Have a Chat!

Once you’ve sent an enquiry and I’ve received your details, the first thing we’ll do is set up a phone or video call. This is our chance to get to know each other a little bit better and see if we’re the right fit. I’ll ask you some questions about your plans for the day, your vision for the ceremony, and the overall vibe you’re hoping to create. You’ll also have a chance to ask me any questions about how I work and the services I offer.

If it feels like the vibes align (and I truly hope they do!), the next step is to secure your date.

Step 2: The Booking Form & Deposit

After our call, I’ll send over the booking form. If you’d like to proceed and secure your wedding date with me, you can fill out the form and return it along with a 50% deposit. This ensures that your date is officially booked in my calendar, and we can begin working together on creating a ceremony that’s perfectly suited to you both.

Once your deposit is received, we’ll schedule your deep dive session.

Step 3: The Deep Dive Session

This is where the magic truly begins! After your booking is confirmed, we’ll arrange our deep dive session, typically 3-6 months before your wedding day, depending on how far in advance we’re working together. This meeting can be done in-person (I love a cuppa or a glass of bubbly!) or virtually, depending on your location.

Before the session, I’ll send you a questionnaire to get you thinking about your ceremony and the personal touches you want to include. You can fill it out beforehand or, if you prefer, we can go through it together during our meeting. This session is where I’ll gather all the details I need to create a ceremony that reflects you—as individuals and as a couple. The deeper we go, the more personalised your ceremony will be, so I encourage you to share your ideas, stories, and dreams!

Step 4: Ceremony Script Creation & Revisions

After our deep dive, I’ll begin writing your ceremony script. At this point, I’ll craft a ceremony that tells your unique story and incorporates any special rituals, readings, or vows you’d like to include. I aim to capture the essence of who you are as a couple and what makes your relationship so special.

I typically share the first draft of the script with you around 1-2 months before your wedding. This gives you time to review it, ask for any tweaks, and suggest revisions. I offer two rounds of revisions to ensure the ceremony feels just right, and we’ll make adjustments as needed. Most of the time, the first draft is pretty spot-on, but if you want to make more significant changes, we can discuss it—though there may be an additional charge if we’re making big changes to the script.

Step 5: Regular Check-ins Leading Up to the Big Day

Throughout the months leading up to your wedding, I’ll check in with you regularly to see how things are going and how you’re feeling about the ceremony. This might start with a few casual WhatsApp messages just to check in, but as we get closer to the wedding, I’m here to offer more support. If you’re having a site visit or meeting with your venue coordinator, I’m happy to join you to ensure everything is running smoothly.

I’ll also check in about your vows. Some couples like to write their own vows, and I’m more than happy to help with ideas, structure, or just moral support! We can chat about whether you’d like me to help craft them or if you’re happy to do it yourselves.

As we get closer to the ceremony, I’ll ask you to confirm everything—venue details, timing, and the final script. We’ll make sure there are no last-minute questions or adjustments.

Step 6: The Final Check-in & Final Preparations

In the final days before your wedding, we’ll have one last check-in. I’ll confirm that everything is on track, remind you to relax and enjoy the last bits of prep, and offer a final word of encouragement for the big day. I’ll wish you all the best with your last-minute preparations, and then... we’ll be ready for the 'I do's!!

I’ll be there with you, ready to deliver the ceremony of your dreams—whether it’s a simple, intimate moment or a grand celebration. I can’t wait to see you both walk down the aisle (should you choose to have one!), surrounded by love and support.

Step 7: The Ceremony Day!

On the day of your ceremony, I’ll be there to guide you, making sure everything flows smoothly and your ceremony is everything you imagined. I’ll arrive early to ensure everything is set up, and I’ll be there to support you through the entire process.

If this process sounds like a good fit for you, I’d love to hear from you! Whether you're just beginning to plan or you already have your date and venue locked in, I’m here to guide you through every step and make sure your ceremony is as special and personal as you are.
