After having an outrageously wonderful time bringing to life our vision for our own wedding day; a vibrant music-filled festival celebration at Elmbridge Farm in Worcestershire, we were absolutely not done thinking about weddings. In fact, shortly after tying the knot, we decided to become business partners as well as life partners, and All Bright Ceremonies was born.

From a 2025 newly-wed & Celebrant - to anyone planning their Wedding Ceremony… you’re going to want to save this for later 💾

1. Make the damn seating plan (it’ll be worth it I promise) 🪑

2. Decide whether your wedding party will be stood beside you… or going straight to their seats. Either is wonderful- as long as everyone knows the plan! 🥂

3. Signal your Celebrant 2-5 mins before you want to start so guests aren’t seated too early 😌

The most beautiful story-book ceremony 🥹💐

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hughes… or should I say; The Farmer & The Artist 👨‍🌾👩‍🎨💗

Izzy’s love of creativity and especially classic children’s story-books, inspired me to create a story especially written for their wedding ceremony, to tell what already felt like such a wonderfully simple story book love. Thankfully, Sam and Izzy were open to my slightly unconventional creative idea and I set about writing The Tale of the Farmer and the Artist!

We wove the chapters around the rest of their beautiful and relaxed ceremony, and the result was something that just felt one thousand percent ‘them!’

Watching them smile, and hearing their guests laugh and smile with them was so very special!

We also planted an apricot tree which was so meaningful for them, and had their legendary side kick Murphy deliver the rings - and boy did he deliver! The best ring bearer I’ve ever seen!

We finished with a stellar piece of advice from Izzy’s grandad (he grabbed me before we started to share it… and it was so precious I had to give him a shout out at the end!!) - Always keep fighting for each other - it’s a good fight to fight! AND never go to sleep angry with each other 👏👏👏

Izzy and Sam exited through a pitchfork arch, courtesy of the young farmers - a local tradition that was awesome to see!

The wedding was held on the family farm and Izzy and Sam and all their loved ones worked so so hard and really created something outstanding! The attention to detail, from the cake to the ribbon bunting… the handmade clay place-card decorations to the flower boxes - even the porta-loos were fancy!!! Everything was thought of and put together with such care, it was so clear to see!

The lovely @toddnathaniel_music provided a soulfully beautiful soundtrack for the day 🎤🎸 (as you can hear in the video!!) and the day was captured by @merciaphoto and @camhaxellphotography - the photographs are beyond gorgeous - truly showing how warm and joyful the day really was, and how incredibly happy Izzy and Sam look🥹📸

All in all… a pleasure to be part of your day!! ❤️🥂

An absolute joy to have been part of this gorgeous wedding day at @thecourtyard_shelsleywalsh 🥰

K & J were after a Celebrant who understood their energy and wasn’t going to make the ceremony too soppy or too serious ⚖️

They discovered me on the @thecelebrantdirectory 🎉

For our deep dive meeting, we met in a garden centre over a cuppa and cake and talked through who they are as a couple, everything they didn’t want, and everything they did ☕️ 💐

They got married on their 10 year anniversary so we decided to plan the ceremony around that thread, so I told their guests 10 things about K&J before we moved into the vows 🥹

We did a handfasting involving both of their parents and their son adding cords, representing the union of all the threads of their history and their future - which was so lovely!! ♾️

And @allbright.photography (my lovely husband Tom) arrived early to get some photos of the groom getting ready whilst the rest of the crew got ready elsewhere 📸

The venue is a gorgeous space and perfect for a DIY couple - they did a stunning job of the decor 😍

A slight mishap during the ceremony when a spider 🕷️ decided to make himself the centre of attention for a moment…. But we popped him outside and had an absolutely beautiful time 💒

And when you get to watch your guests pass them around and close their eyes to REALLY think about their hopes for your marriage... It's just magic ✨

C & R's story was a trip down memory lane, tracing back to their first date at only 11 years old!!! Childhood sweethearts who love each other more every single day!

One more Guide Paw-rent than we bargained for!! 😭🐾

I had the loveliest time this weekend, delivering a Naming Ceremony for H & N's amazing daughter!

The setup was perfectly them - on the deck of their garden, under the beautiful sun, surrounded by the best people (and paws!).

A naming ceremony is about welcoming your child, your way. And that's exactly what we did 🥹🩷

Alice in One-derland themed decor, delicious party food, and most importantly, loads of love and celebration 🎉 💕

The highlight for me though....was the lovely Albie (Albus) deciding to join us on the deck when I invited the Guide Parents to come and make their promises and commitments to baby A!! 😭🐾 He has, of course, been her unofficial guide Paw-rent / fluffy bodyguard since she was born and I don't know how I could have forgotten to invite him to join us for this special moment!!!

Well he didn't wait for an invitation anyway, Albus knew it was his moment 😂🥹

Monday morning is one of my favourite moments of the week… and I LOVE no longer having the Sunday-scaries every weekend. I get to ease into my working week with a little bit of love to warm me up 💛

Mondays are a slow start with Phoebe 🐾 and a cuppa tea as the sun comes up, followed by Celebrant admin (emails and organising myself!), then I get locked into ceremony writing - this week I’ll be focusing on I&S’s wedding!

From one Bride to another - you’re gonna want to save these for later!! 📑

Since soooo many of you loved my ceremony prep advice, I thought I’d reshare it….

Well... I’ve been a wife for almost 10 months now 😱 but it feels like only yesterday that I wished I’d practiced these 5 things 🙏🏻

1. Veil lift!! Not as easy as it looks!!

2. Aisle Walk - little things like which side to stand! It all makes a difference on the day when you know what to expect

3. Putting on the rings - almost ALWAYS difficult, but a little practice makes sure for a smooth ring exchange on the day, which looks great in photos 📸

4. Timings - walking takes longer in a wedding dress... 💃🏻 Give yourself breathing room!

5. Vows - type them however you like, to help you read them as easily as possible on the day (if you’re bringing your own!!).

Little details like these, make a huge difference on the day. It won’t take long to practice them, and you’ll be so glad you did 😌✨

P.s. get yourself a celebrant who will prepare you for these things!!
